Business Tax ID
Partners must obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to conduct business with Trips & Stops. An EIN can be acquired through the IRS at no cost in most states, and is typically available immediately.
Certificate of Organization
Partners must possess a Certificate of Organization, also known as Articles of Organization, establishing them as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). This certificate must confirm the LLC’s good standing with the Department of Revenue (DOR).
Certificate of Insurance
Partners must provide a Certificate of Insurance, covering all listed vehicles and drivers. Trips & Stops must be designated as the certificate holder, with additional insured status as required by coverage. Send all COIs to [email protected] for verification.
Partner Program Requirement
Workers Compensation Liability
Partners are required to have workers’ compensation insurance, including Employers Liability coverage, as part of the onboarding process. This is mandatory for businesses engaged in human transportation services.
Certificate of Vehicle Registration
At onboarding, partners must submit vehicle registration certificates, proof of insurance, and a state inspection for each vehicle. Additionally, a Transportation Network Company (TNC) inspection confirming the vehicle’s good standing is required.
Onboard Vehicle Safety Equipments
During inspections, all vehicles must be fully equipped with required safety equipment. Vehicles undergo a safety inspection before being approved for passenger transport.
Driver Trainings & Certifications
All partner drivers must complete proper training and certification before transporting passengers. Our training program emphasizes safety, customer service, and professionalism to ensure the highest standards for our drivers.
